personnel be able to obtain my medical records
from my personal physician or local hospital?

What about access through
the Internet?
All member profiles are maintained in a secure
database and are not available over the Internet,
except in special circumstances where it is
expressly agreed and consented to by the member.
Can other people access
a member's medical information?
No. Global MED-NET will only forward a member's
medical profile to emergency medical personnel
and each request is verified before information
is forwarded.
Does Global MED-NET sell
data to other companies?
No. All Global MED-NET member information
is kept strictly confidential.
Is Global MED-NET an
insurance company?
No. Global MED-NET is not an insurance company,
nor does it make a member's medical profile
available to insurance companies.
What happens if your
computers "crash"?
All member information is backed up and stored
in a secure, off-site location.
What if I travel to a
foreign country and need my Global MED-NET
information?
Global MED-NET operates worldwide, utilizes
multilingual operators and can fax your information
in both English and the language many other
countries.
